The Waza Craft pedal lineup has been incredibly successful and a great move for Boss's brand.
Waza Craft, Originals, and Regular Boss Pedals
The Waza Craft series is a lineup of Boss pedals that are analog reissues of popular Boss pedals from decades past. Like many of the older Boss pedals, the Waza Craft models are manufactured in Japan and are both faithful to the original while building on it with new features.
For those wanting analog Boss pedals, the Waza Craft series is the easiest way to get there. Originals, like the HM-2 or CE-2 for example, are sometimes available on used markets, but are becoming increasingly rare.
Regular Boss pedals are mostly digital, though still one of our favorite brands to recommend.
Boss knows what they're doing, Waza Craft or otherwise.
