How much does the Gibson Les Paul Custom Cost?
Currently $4,999.00
The Les Paul Custom is one of the nicest guitars that Gibson makes. And while there are other custom guitars in Gibson's inventory, this is the Custom series and the de facto Les Paul Custom. Currently the Custom is running at $4,999.00.

The Gibson Les Paul Custom is one of the most expensive series of guitars in the Gibson lineup. With several versions, including many from decades past that are still in production, the Les Paul Custom series has a really wide price range. In this price guide we'll list all of the current models with updated numbers.
Note that this guide does not include used versions of the Gibson Les Paul Custom, either from eBay or Reverb.
Also, keep in mind the naming convention of Les Paul Customs. It has gotten a little strange in recent years.
There are a bunch of Gibson Custom Les Pauls.
So the Les Paul Customs are listed as: Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom.
Here's how it looks on Sweetwater:

Keep in mind that the Custom Les Pauls are not the same as the Les Paul Customs.
Again, this is a really weird naming convention, and I'm not really sure why they did it like this. Just keep this in mind as you browse so you don't get mixed up with a different Les Paul series.
Another way to help tell is that Les Paul Customs are usually white or black.
You'll also see some in silver.
Our price guides are not necessarily recommendations or reviews, but a resource for those already interested in the Gibson Les Paul Custom and want to see their options. Also note that we link to Sweetwater, and other vendors we trust, to help support our site and keep Guitar Chalk ad free. Gibson Les Paul Custom Price from Popular Retailers
Sweetwater carries a lot of Gibson guitars. In fact, they were the only ones we could spot that carried most of the Gibson Les Paul Customs. Other retailers carried a lot of the Custom Les Paul variations, but the Les Paul Custom proved to be somewhat elusive.
We found a few on Guitar Center and Musician's Friend.
Again, keep in mind this is all new pricing as we left out any second-hand options.
Price Alert Sign Up (follows lowest price listed)
This simple app allows you to sign up for a price alert and will send you an email if and when a Les Paul Custom from our list reaches your set price.
Note that it tracks with the lowest price option from the list, but you can select a price between two guitars if you want to try and catch a drop for a more expensive model.
Other Buying Options
As we mentioned, you can look at used options on eBay and Reverb.
ShopGoodwill is a really long shot, but you could try their platform as well.
Particularly on Reverb, the discounts on these guitars are significant. We've seen 25-30 percent and higher. You just have to check their inventory from time to time.
When buying used, make sure you pay attention to the condition of the guitar and the year model (might be 2016, 2017, etc.) when buying.
Conclusion
The Gibson Les Paul Custom is expensive, but even within the series you have options. Decide which one you want first, then browse around for your pricing options.
Make sure you pay attention to the difference between a Custom Les Paul and a Les Paul Custom,
