This is a price guide for Hartke bass amps, covering the most popular options including combos and some of their amp heads. While it doesn't include all of their amps, we can easily update this list if you let us know in the comments section below.
Most of their most current inventory is included.
Note that we've excluded the Hartke bass cabinets which are also very popular, but don't fall under the category of an amplifier.
Hartke's price range is pretty average at least for combo amps and heads. They have some bundles that include their cabinets and an amp head, which can run over $1000. But if you don't count the cab, their amps are very reasonably priced.
They're a popular and well-respected brand that's not going to break the budget.

Hartke Bass Amp Price Guide from Amazon Only
We keep Amazon pricing separate from other retailers since they have a different agreement for displaying prices. But as far as you would be concerned, their price points are roughly the same as everywhere else. They're just not the first name you think about when buying a bass amp, but they do carry a lot of Hartke products.

Hartke Bass Amp Price Guide from Multiple Retailers
Most major music gear retailers carry Hartke combo amps and cabinets. In fact, they seem more widespread than most brands and products we pull pricing for. In this table the amps are sorted by price. For some reason, the table piles in a few Sweetwater options at the end, so keep that in mind.
Again, you should see most of the Hartke bass amps here, but not necessarily all of them.
Price Alert
This price alert tool will email you when any of the amps on the above list hit the price target. Though in its simplest form, it tracks the lowest priced product in the list. If a price goes down (or up) and hits your target, you'll get an email to let you know.
Price History for Lowest Priced Hartke Bass Amp
Our price history chart tracks the lowest price from the above table which may or may not be helpful to you. This is probably one of the really simple HyDrive amps, which are basically a speaker with a three-band EQ.
It's possible that if the price of cheaper amps change, the more expensive ones will change as well. Use this chart to get a general idea of how prices are fluctuating.

What are the best Hartke bass amps?
The most ideal setup for a Hartke bass amp is to go with an amp head like the TX300 or the LH500 and then pair it with one of the HyDrive cabinets. This will get you a great setup for less than $1000.
If you don't need the speaker cab, that makes things even easier. The TX300 and LH500 both have direct outs to let you go to a PA system, mixer, or audio interface.
These days, you can get away without having a combo amp.
Features to Watch For
Here are a few features to keep an eye on when buying a Hartke bass amp:
- Direct out or headphone out
- Active/passive inputs
- Three-band EQ
- Limiter
- Speaker outputs available
- Wattage
These are good things to consider when buying any bass amp. As we mentioned in the above paragraph, direct outs are particularly important if you plan to go without a speaker cab.
How are prices set?
Materials and commodities will fluctuate, causing most products to change in price, and bass amps are no exception.
That said, musical instruments tend to stay more static than other areas of the economy. You'll also have changes depending on which versions of each amp they're releasing or phasing out.
Most music gear companies will release yearly versions of their products, just like car companies.
But overall, there are a lot of variables in play that are hard to predict.
At the end of the day, prices are set at the manufacturer's discretion.
Used Prices
Used prices will depend most heavily on simple supply and demand. The more rare and more in demand a piece of gear is, the more expensive it will be on sites like Reverb and eBay.
