Best Multi Effects Pedals for Acoustic Guitars
This is a roundup of the best multi effects pedals designed for acoustic guitars that I've used and regularly recommend to Guitar Chalk readers. Note that in an acoustic guitar context, preamp pedals can also be viewed as "multi effects" pedals and often come with basic modulation and/or reverb models.
Further, acoustic pedals, preamps, and multi effects pedals can sometimes mix and match their terminology. But they're all designed to make your acoustic rig more versatile. We'll cover the top five acoustic multi effects pedals here, and link to a couple similar resources below.

1. Fishman ToneDEQ Acoustic Preamp

The Fishman ToneDEQ is first and foremost a DI and acoustic preamp, but it includes 8 total effects and compression, making it one of the most versatile options on this list. Plus, Fishman is a go-to in the acoustic modeling business.
2. Boss AD-10 Acoustic Guitar Processor

The Boss AD-10 is actually a bit more expensive than the ToneDEQ, but gives you more granular levels of control. Feedback suppression, memory bank (presets), resonance, and a low cut button are just a few of the notable perks.
3. LR Baggs Venue DI (preamp)

Even though it's not strictly a multi effects pedal, I had to include the Venue DI here because it's simply one of the best acoustic preamps on the market. Lots of EQ control, a notch filter, an onboard tuner, and a ton of fine-tuning EQ options are all part of the deal. This has been one of my top acoustic gear recommendations for over a decade now.

4. Fishman Platinum Pro EQ/DI

This is an analog acoustic preamp with onboard compression, volume control, brilliance, and a notch filter, along with a wide range of EQ control. A boost button and tuner are also included, making this a good acoustic pedal for live performances.
5. Fishman Aura Spectrum DI

The Aura Spectrum DI is similar to the Platinum, but puts a lot more emphasis on acoustic effects with a staggering 128 different acoustic images. Onboard presets, anti-feedback, compression and a tuner are also included. This is another acoustic multi effects pedal that I have been recommending for a long time, great for the stage and studio.
6. Line 6 HX Stomp

The HX Stomp is part of the Line 6 Helix effects family, but I've actually tested its onboard acoustic models and effects with my rig and it's a surprisingly good fit. You can use multi effects pedals that are more traditionally electric for your acoustic guitar, and this is a good example.

You can use regular guitar pedals and multi effects processors for acoustic guitars, but the specifics really depend on your rig. These six are safe bets, but if you're not sure about something, feel free to ask questions in the comments section below.
