Yamaha TF1 VS DM3-D: What are the major differences?
Channel count, outputs, sampling rates.
In their current form, the DM3-D has 22 channels to the TF1's 16, though the TF1 is expandable to 40. Other differences include the number of XLR outputs (16 in the TF1 to 8 in the DM3), form factor (the DM3 is much lighter), and touchscreen size/setup. We like the TF1 a little better for the expandability, but your situation could differ, so be sure to analyze accordingly.
