We'll cover three pedalboards here that are big enough to house roughly eight guitar pedals, depending (of course) on the size of each pedal. Assuming you're working with mini, medium (Boss pedal size), and large (Strymon or wah pedals), arrangements could look something like this:
- 8 x medium pedals
- 1 x mini pedal, 6 x medium pedals, 1 x large pedal
- 2 x large pedals, 4 x medium pedals
Again, it all depends on your pedal roster, but these pedalboards should be a good fit if you're in the range of six to 10 pedals total. If you aren't sure and you have questions, leave them in the comments section below and I'll do my best to help out.
1. Pedaltrain Classic Junior

There are several mid-sized Pedaltrain boards, but the Classic Jr would be my go-to for eight pedals. Here's an example of how that board might look. It has 1 large, 1 mini, and 6 medium sized pedals.

Here's an example of how you might fit 8 pedals onto the Pedaltrain Classic Junior.
- 1 x large
- 1 x mini
- 6 x medium
2. Temple Audio DUO 17

Of the three on this list, the Temple Audio DUO 17 is the smallest, but it's also the cheapest. It'll be one for maybe a couple of mini pedals and a tighter fit. However, if you need more room, you can upgrade to the DUO 24.

3. Voodoo Lab Dingbat Medium

The Voodoo Lab Dingbat Medium can easily fit eight pedals. You can also get these with or without a Voodoo Lab power supply included.
If you get a Dingbat pedalboard with a power supply included (you can get them with or without), it'll be expensive, but worth it if you need pedal power. The Dingbat Medium comes with the Pedal Power 3, so it has everything you need to put together an 8-pedal setup, with a little room to expand.

Here's a look at how eight pedals could fit on the Voodoo Lab Dingbat, including a large Ernie Ball volume pedal.
- 2 x large pedals
- 6 x medium pedals
Questions or thoughts?
There are certainly other pedalboards that can handle eight pedals, but I think these are the clear frontrunners. If you have questions or thoughts to share, leave it in the comments section below. I'm always happy to chat pedals and help out if I can.
