Best Thinline Acoustic Guitar Overall: Taylor T5z (Custom Koa and Classic)
The T5z is definitely on the higher end of the market pricing tier, but there are several versions to choose from, including the Classic model which is much cheaper. They're by far your best thinline acoustic guitar models available. If you want something at a more manageable price, the Cordoba Stage is your next stop, with the American Acoustasonic Telecaster next in line. It's just very hard to beat Taylor's tone and flexibility in the T5z.
Sweetwater is one of our most trusted partners.

1. Taylor T5z Custom Koa Thinline
The best overall from a quality standpoint, if not the most expensive.

A combination of three total pickups (including a body sensor) and a 5-way selector switch, all give you a massive amount of flexibility. The Koa tonewood body design adds a unique tone and aesthetic twist that you just don't get in other thinlines.
2. Cordoba Stage Thinbody Nylon
Best intermediate level acoustic guitar (best price point)

Keep in mind, this is a nylon string thinline acoustic, and not steel strings. But I like it because it's vastly more affordable than the other acoustics on this list (especially the T5z) while still meeting a high tone quality standard.
3. Ibanez TOD10N Tim Henson Signature Thinline
Runner up for best and most affordable thinline acoustic-electric.

Tim Henson's style is very intricate and technical, which is putting it mildly. His Ibanez hybrid nylon-string acoustic is very accomodating to this style, and adds a Fishman preamp to sweeten the deal. It's priced similarly to the Cordoba Stage.
4. Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster
Best for tone flexibility and Telecaster fans.

There are TEN total voicings you can get out of this guitar between the acoustic and electric sounds. The Mahogany body and mini soundhole give you a surprisingly loud and full acoustic resonance, capable of darker strumming and higher-end lead sounds.
5. Godin MultiAc Nylon Acoustic-Electric
Best Cedar top thinline acoustic guitar.

The combination of the Cedar top and Mahogany body here are beautiful, both in sound and appearance. It's expensive, usually over $2000, but a great runner up to the Taylor T5z if you still want something on a higher quality tier.
