What is the Cheapest Fender American Stratocaster?
Usually the American Performer Strat
There aren't really any "cheap" American Strats, but the Performer series is usually going to be the lowest price of the bunch. Check the price table below for updated numbers, but it should be a lot lower than most. The Professional II Strat's are the next cheapest.

The Fender American Stratocasters listed below are in descending order by price. The table includes the cheapest Fender American Stratocasters along with the more expensive options, though we did not include the most expensive American Strats. Note that the American Performer Strats are almost always your cheapest option. Next in line would be the American Professional series.

This information is intended to function as a price guide and resource and does not necessarily constitute a recommendation or review.
Keep in mind that we have not listed used American Strats on this page, which can go for less (or more) depending on the year they were made and their condition. Also note that there are different versions and colors of each American Stratocaster series, including HSS and left-handed models. All of these variables can impact pricing to different extents.
But overall, the Performer is consistently the most affordable of the American Strats. The Ultra, and Ultra Luxe models are some of the most expensive before you get into the Custom Shop Stratocasters, which are in their own quality and pricing tier.
