Dimensions of the JBL M2 MOnitors (plus weight)
20" x 49.5" x 14" and 129 lbs
The JBL M2 reference monitors are very tall and very heavy, measuring about 50 inches high (over four feet) and weighing in at nearly 130 pounds. They're a professional-grade studio reference monitor, so you'll also need to consider the distance you'll need to sit from the monitor, depending on how high it sits off the ground (reference below).

For a set of reference monitors (especially ones this big), make sure you have enough room to get the proper distance from the listener. This will depend on how far away you sit from the monitors, likely behind a mixing board, and how high the monitors themselves sit off the ground (if they're on a stand or riser of some kind). A reference table for that is included below, along with dimensions and weight for a single monitor. Spoiler alert - they're really heavy.
JBL M2 Dimensions and Weight
| Dimension | Measurement |
|---|---|
| Width (W) | 508 mm / 20 inches |
| Height (H) | 1256 mm / 49-1/2 inches |
| Depth (D) | 356 mm / 14 inches |
| Weight | 58.5 kg / 129 lb |

The JBL M2 is a very tall reference monitor, over four feet even without sitting on a riser.

Listening Distance Diagram (mixer/studio setup)

The distance between a listener and the M2 monitor(s) should be based on the centerline of the woofer pointing straight at the head of the listener. In this diagram, since the speaker is 20 inches off the ground, the corresponding distance to the listener should be roughly 92 inches.
