What Guitar Does Morgan Wallen Play?
Gibson Acoustic J-45 Standard
Morgan Wallen has been seen using a lot of different acoustic guitars, but the model we've noticed show up most often is the Gibson J-45 Standard acoustic. It's identifiable by the headstock, fret inlays, and binding.
This article covers a few of the guitars that Morgan Wallen plays. He's more of a singer-songwriter than a guitarist, but he plays some really nice acoustics that we've spotted.
There are a few that we've been able to verify from his live videos and Instagram photos.

- Taylor 717e Grand Pacific
- Taylor 818e

There's also an acoustic guitar in his video for "Cover Me Up" that is some kind of Taylor, but is difficult to identify for sure. I think it's a 914ce, but it does not have the same headstock as the current models, and the fretboard inlays, particularly on the lower frets, look different.
Equipboard lists it as a Taylor 114 and marks it as verified, but this is definitely not correct, at least based on this photo.
For these reasons, I left the 914ce out of our list.

Images of Morgan Wallen's Guitars
Here are a few pictures of Morgan Wallen with the acoustic guitars we've mentioned above. We've pulled these from Wallen's Instagram account and a couple YouTube videos.
Wallen again pictured with the Gibson J-45 Standard. Seems to be a go-to for him.
I believe this is a Taylor 818e, though the finish looks a bit darker than the one being sold on Sweetwater. That could pretty easily be a filter or lighting effect.
Once again, the J-45, this time in some kind of indoor venue or recording studio.
Still image from a video where Wallen is playing the Gibson SJ-200, which is the only time I've seen him with this particular guitar.
