Recommendations for PRS SE Silver Sky Pickup Upgrade
Compatibility Notes: The PRS Silver Sky has PRS-designed single coil pickups, which are roughly the same size as most Strat-designed pickups. However, it's important to keep in mind that there could be some nuance depending on the model. Also keep in mind that the Fluence set is an active pickup set which will require a 9V battery to be installed in the back panel.
PRS SE Silver Sky Pickup Upgrade Guide/Mod
The SE version of the PRS Silver Sky is a great guitar, and an upgrade of the single coil pickups will make it more of a viable long-term investment with much higher resale value. We're recommending two pickup sets, along with a bump up to Elixir Polyweb strings.

Fishman Fluence Strat Single Coils
The Fishman Fluence technology gives you an extremely articulate clean sound, melded with the smoothness and quietness of active humbuckers. This is our favorite upgrade for a lot of Strat guitar designs, but the SE Silver Sky is a particularly good fit. Usually they're available in the form of a loaded pickguard, which also conveniently comes with a battery pack.
Important note: The Fluence Strat pickups are active, which means they'll need a 9V battery to be installed in the back panel of the guitar. This shouldn't be a problem, but just something to keep in mind when you're making your choice.

Fender Gen 4 Noiseless Single Coil Set
It doesn't feel quite right to recommend Fender pickups for a guitar that was clearly based on a Fender Stratocaster, to the last detail. But the Fender Noiseless pickup series is one of our favorites to recommend, great for any Strat-style electric, and preferable to the stock PRS single coils, which are already decent.

I have replaced Gen4 HSS pickups on my Fender with Fishman loaded pick guard. Major change is no hum and huge versitality I can get closer to Humbecker tones on bridge and volume pot really clears the tone like no any other pickups
I don’t think there’s a single scenario where I would not recommend Fluence pickups.
