This price is live-updated and based on the new retail cost of the Helix on Sweetwater. We use Sweetwater's price points because they're typically the most accurate barometer of approximate market value.
On our price tracker pages we've built tools to monitor this price and - after the article ages a bit - track price changes and history.
Typically the Helix's price holds steady, but by the time you're reading this page, things could have changed dramatically. Check below to see an updated Line 6 Helix price and explore what a few different vendors are offering.

Line 6 Helix Sweetwater Retail
Sweetwater usually does not offer discounts on gear, nor do they run up the price. They're the most consistent and accurate when it comes to retail, where places like Guitar Center tend to be a little higher, since they're trying to support physical stores.
Used markets - as we'll see with Reverb and eBay - are predictably lower.
If you buy new, Sweetwater is probably your best bet. Again, the pricing below is pulled in real time.

Pricing from All Vendors
The Helix is most readily available on Sweetwater, though we have a few additional vendors in our system that also carry it. eBay is often the cheapest, though the Reverb price - which we cover below - will likely beat even the eBay options.
Price Alert Sign Up (based on lowest price from above vendors)
Use this sign up form to get price drop alerts if and when the Line 6 Helix drops below a particular price. Though keep in mind, the Helix series tends to hold pretty steady, hesitant to go up, but even more stingy about going down. You might be waiting awhile for an email depending on how low you set the price.
Price History (based on lowest price from all listed vendors)
This tool tracks the lowest price from the above listed vendors. Note that it does not include Reverb. In this graph, eBay is typically going to be the lowest priced option. Otherwise, the cost for getting a Helix brand new is roughly the same across the board.

Reverb Used Pricing Summary
Because of the way Reverb has setup their database, we are not able to include it in the above tools. However, the price below is updated daily and is accurate based on the lowest priced Helix available in the market. It also displays the number of units available, which is usually a decently high amount, due to the popularity of the Helix and the large number floating around in the market.
Be careful with going too low in price because you might run into "as-is" or "for-parts" units.

Conclusion
The Helix is expensive, but it can - quite literally - replace your entire rig. It might be worth it if you don't mind the new cost, or if you can spot a good secondhand deal on eBay or Reverb.
