What kind of Guitar Does Wes Scantlin play?
Gibson Les Paul Classic and Custom
Puddle of Mudd's frontman Wes Scantlin usually plays a Gibson Les Paul Classic or Les Paul Custom. He has also been seen running a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier and Marshall JCM800 amp head. A Cry Baby wah pedal and unidentified foot controller (MIDI?) are the only pedals we've been able to spot.

This is a rig diagram that covers the guitar gear used by Puddle of Mudd's lead singer, Wes Scantlin. Please keep in mind, this is my best guess as to what he uses, based on pictures and a few resources. The controller is what I'm really not sure about, so I'd welcome some help there in the comments section, or anything else I might have missed. The diagram is in the style of Guitar Geek, which is a resource that I've been trying to keep alive for awhile now. Enjoy the diagram and, again, leave suggestions and/or questions in the comments section below.
